The main objective of the certification and control performed by the body at “AGRO ORGANIC CONTROL” EOOD is to create confidence, among all interested parties, that the product meets the requirements for organic production. The value of certification is in the degree of trust and confidence, created by the impartial and competent proof by a third party, of the fulfillment of the requirements to manufacturers and particularly to the manufacturers of organic products and also to the products themselves.

The quality policy of the control body at “AGRO ORGANIC CONTROL” EOOD and the activity on certification and control carried out by this body are based on the following five core principles in carrying out the certification and control of organic production: impartiality, competence, professional secrecy, handling of objections and complaints, responsibility.

Following the five basic principles embedded in the control system, “AGRO ORGANIC CONTROL” EOOD has the following MAIN OBJECTIVES:

1. To implement the certification system that ensures confidence in the certified products and is recognized by the competent authority of Bulgaria for the purposes of official control; 

2. Through certification and control, to ensure the manufacturers, processors, traders and consumers organic production that meets the requirements of the European and national regulations;

3. To apply economically accessible certification system;

4. To ensure quality performance of its control functions;

5. Impartially performs the certification and control processes on each individual application for which the risk assessment system for impartiality has not reported any risk or if reported, then the adequate steps have been taken to neutralize such risk to the acceptable levels;

6. The control and certification procedures are provided to all applicants for certification and suppliers in a way that excludes any form of discrimination;

7. The personnel is instructed and motivated to apply, and accurately applies the rules of the implemented control system;

8. Ensures transparency in the relations with the customer by providing him with all the information concerning the certification system, in compliance with the rules for ensuring professional secrecy;

9. Maintains constant cooperation with national and international institutions that are interested in the certification of organic products, and with the accreditation body inclusive;

10. Seeks to exchange experience with other certification bodies in the field of organic production;
